Journalism Student

I completed the Journalism Certificate program at Langara College, where I developed a strong foundation in reporting, copy-editing, photography, and TV and radio production. As a reporter for The Langara Voice, I wrote news and feature stories, covered live campus and off-campus events, and conducted interviews with a wide range of sources. I also contributed to podcast and video segments, gaining hands-on experience in multimedia storytelling.

Through this work, I developed strong skills in research, fact-checking, and crafting compelling narratives under tight deadlines. I also gained practical experience in audio editing, broadcast scripting, and newsroom collaboration.

This training gave me a strong grounding in pitching stories, adapting content across formats, and working in fast-paced editorial environments, skills that continue to inform my work as a communicator and content strategist.
