As a marketing consultant, I’ve seen how the right mix of strategy, creativity, and execution can transform social media and event marketing into powerful drivers of growth. From educational institutions to global summits to blockchain startups, my work has spanned a range of industries and platforms—each with unique audiences and goals.
Below, I’ll share a few examples of past projects, along with tips you can apply to your own marketing efforts.

Event Marketing: Global EFT Summit
I led the event marketing strategy for the Global EFT Summit, targeting two audiences: therapists seeking professional development and members of the public interested in emotional well-being. I developed tailored email campaigns, engaging social media promotions, and content strategies to appeal to both groups. Strategic partnerships also played a vital role in increasing awareness and boosting attendance.
Tips you can use:
Segment your audience: Don’t use a one-size-fits-all message. Speak directly to the motivations of each group.
Leverage partnerships: Collaborating with aligned organizations or influencers can expand your reach without doubling your budget.

Instagram Marketing: Headington School
At Headington School in Oxford, I managed the school’s Instagram account and oversaw website content, newsletters, and other social channels. By creating authentic, engaging content and maintaining consistent communication, I strengthened the school’s online presence and helped connect with prospective students and parents.
Tips you can use:
Showcase community stories: Highlight real people and experiences—prospective audiences connect more with authentic content than polished brochures.
Stay consistent: A regular posting schedule keeps your brand top-of-mind and builds trust with your audience.

Social Media Advertising: Facebook & Google Ads
I’ve used Facebook and Google Ads extensively to build awareness, optimize campaigns, and convert audiences. Whether it’s prospecting with lookalike audiences or retargeting website visitors, these platforms provide the flexibility to reach the right people at the right stage of their journey.
Tips you can use:
Test and refine: Always run A/B tests on ad creatives, headlines, and CTAs to find what resonates best.
Use retargeting wisely: Most people won’t convert on the first touchpoint. Retargeting helps you stay visible and guide them toward action.

YouTube Content Marketing: Solo TV
As part of a broader initiative to launch Sologenic’s brand in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, I helped create and grow Solo TV. This YouTube channel served as an educational hub, offering interviews with industry leaders, explainers on blockchain technology, AMA sessions, and deep dives into product developments. I oversaw everything from scripts and production to strategic ad campaigns that increased visibility and subscriber engagement.
Tips you can use:
Educate, don’t just sell: Audiences on YouTube value useful insights over sales pitches. Make your content valuable first, promotional second.
Mix formats: Combine educational explainers, interviews, and community-driven content to keep your channel engaging and dynamic.
Final Thoughts on social media and event marketing strategies
What ties these experiences together is a focus on meeting people where they are—whether that’s on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or at an event—and creating content and campaigns that truly resonate. Successful marketing is about understanding your audience, delivering value, and using the right platforms to maximize impact.
If you’re looking to grow your brand through social media marketing, advertising, or event campaigns, I’d love to help.
